Troop 658 - Adult Leadership

“Remember the old adage … “You get out of it, what you put into it,” and Scouting is no different. ”

Troop 658 believes that every scout deserves a trained leader. Even more so, he deserves a troop where the parents are as invested in their son’s Scouting journey as he is. To this end, we provide opportunities for parents to serve the troop (and their sons) in multiple ways. Remember the old adage … “You get out of it, what you put into it,” and Scouting is no different. Our all-volunteer team of leaders, both men and women, are deeply committed to making our Pack program a success. They serve in a variety of positions, these volunteers work to provide a suitable meeting place, adult leadership, supervision, support materials and opportunities for a healthy Scouting life for the boys. We hope you’ll join us!

Training Opportunities – Scouting provides a host of different trainings and opportunities to get them. Even better, you don’t have to be a leader to take them – every parent is welcome to take the trainings to better understand how Scouting works. Here’s everything you need to know.
