PLAN: We will start from the trailhead, then hike 2.25 miles to Lower Moro Campground where we will set camp and spend the night. Sunday morning we will be packing up our camp and retracing our steps 2.25 miles down the mountain.
WHERE: Crystal Cove State Park - 8471 N Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651
WHEN: Saturday, February 17 we will meet at 7:00 AM behind Jack in the Box ( 2101 Palos Verdes Drive North, Lomita ). We will return to the same location Sunday, February 18 around 1:00 PM. Parents will be called if we are running significantly early or late.
BRING:
External or internal frame backpack.

Sleeping Bag (20 degree-rated is strongly recommended)
Mess Kit
Prepare for the possibility of a cold, windy night by bringing extra layers of clothing, a beanie, gloves, and a thermal pad.
FOOD:
BRING 2-4 LITERS OF WATER, there is NO WATER at the campsite.
Bring a sack lunch for Saturday.
