Adult Leadership
“Remember the old adage … “You get out of it, what you put into it,” and Scouting is no different.”
Troop 658 believes that every scout deserves a trained leader. Even more so, he deserves a troop where the parents are as invested in their son’s Scouting journey as he is. To this end, we provide opportunities for parents to serve the troop (and their sons) in multiple ways. Remember the old adage … “You get out of it, what you put into it,” and Scouting is no different. Our all-volunteer team of leaders, both men and women, are deeply committed to making our Pack program a success. They serve in a variety of positions, these volunteers work to provide a suitable meeting place, adult leadership, supervision, support materials and opportunities for a healthy Scouting life for the boys. We hope you’ll join us!
Any scout in a leadership position who violates the "TROOP 658 GENERAL POLICY FOR CONDUCT" may be removed from his leadership position depending on the severity of the violation. The "TROOP 658 GENERAL POLICY FOR CONDUCT" shall be part of this position description by reference.
